Manufacturing

the seat consists of nozag springs attached with guinder twine and covered with a cotton canvas. The filling is made of HR foam, cotton wadding and the sheepskin covers the whole. (THE BASANE). The backrest is made with nozag springs attached with guinder twine and then covered with burlap. The filling is made of HR foam, cotton wadding and sheepskin covers everything. The back is made with a thick cotton canvas and then covered with the Sheepskin which is fixed with NAILS. The structure is in solid pine and beech wood.
Construction with suspended front

The front mounted on a spring is flexible and allows, thanks to the suspension, a softer comfort.

Fixed storefront construction

Manufactured from the 1950s. The front is rigid, for firmer comfort.

Laying the leather and staining

We wet the leathers to make them more flexible so that we have a perfect application without wrinkles. Once the CLUB chair is dry, we can color it with a spray tint and then wax it by hand using a sponge.

Vegetable tanning

Vegetable-tanned leather is an ancient process that has endured and appeals to lovers of authenticity and eco-design. Its physical and aesthetic characteristics give it a real singularity. All our Sheepskin comes from a tanner located in Mazamet (France)
